Spring Nail Colors: Essie Top Picks

Whenever spring hits, I swap out my tired ruby reds, navy blues, and snow whites from winter’s past in an effort to bring life to my hands again. I have been an Essie enthusiast for plenty of years now, as it’s the only brand that lasts longer than three days on my nails without chipping away. Throughout the years I have tested and collected countless colors but have chiseled it down to be what I believe my five must-haves for the spring months.

The Essentials

Tart Deco: A longtime favorite for me. It’s a perfect tangerine that pulls more pink than orange on me. It applies as a creamy toned down coral without being too loud on the hands. This color pairs perfectly with my tanner skin so I normally wait until May or June hit to debut it.

Cute As A Button: This beautiful bright persimmon pink is summer in a bottle, for lack of better words. It is a bright cheery watermelon shade that looks especially cute on the toes! It is a foolproof hot pink.

Muchi, Muchi: Described as a “creamy, luscious pink with a kiss of mauve”, this shade is my go-to nude pink. It is not as pale as the classic Ballet Slippers, and instead leaves more of an opaque finish… perfect for spring! This pastel shade will always be a staple in my collection and I love to rock it during all four seasons.

Topless & Barefoot: Another four-season staple for me is this soft-beige pink. It has the slightest touch of blush which makes this nude wearable for my paler winter skin as well as my sun-kissed bronzy beach skin. It’s an essential neutral in any collection.

Coacha’bella:  This molten magenta is one of those shades that seriously looks good on anyone. It’s a vibrant purple with a neon finish that just begs to be worn to all outdoor spring and summer activities.
